Our Story
For more than two decades, we have cultivated our own grapevines and handcrafted wines, steadily expanding our vineyard to share our passion directly with our guests. Our dedication to the art and science of viticulture continues to drive us, ensuring every bottle reflects the quality we strive for.
The name Painted Fox is inspired by an old fable of a clever fox who “painted” itself in mud and feigned death to lure unsuspecting birds. We embrace this playful tale throughout our winery, inviting artists to create distinctive works celebrating the fox, the fable, and the beauty of grapes and wine.

We produce an assortment of both white and red wines. We have Germanic varietals such as Riesling, Gruner Veltliner, and Blaufränkish, but also the more traditional wines such as Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. We also produce local favorites such as Vidal and Chambourcin.
